I have designed and manufactured several 3D printers and I use a printer of my design for a couple of years now. Upgrading it and designing new parts is a perpetual job and I enjoy doing it. Also designing with linear rails,extruded profiles with combined 3D printed parts or fully metal or sheet metal constructionsshould be no problem.
