Hello, I did mouse histology works during my PhD thesis, too. I worked in a human genetics laboratory. ANOVA tests are easy. Is SPSS absolutely necessary or would any other program do where you have access yourself, too? I think you want SPSS so that you can automate stuff, isn't it? I could do it in R (a free program for windows, too) which is a free statistics program. Or python or excel .... or other programs.
