Indonesian Market Research Consultant & Translator

South Korean ESL content provider seeks well-educated, media-savvy Indonesian writers who can act as market research consultants and English-to-Indonesian translators. Each writer will be asked to complete a 3-day project that entails the following tasks: 1. Provide feedback to samples of ESL content that will be launched in Jakarta next month. 2. Translate content from English into Indonesian (less than half a page) 3. Edit/revise samples of Indonesian writing (less than half a page) 4. Select 5 news stories that would be highly interesting to Indonesian adult professionals. Briefly summarize these stories in English. 5. Participate in conference calls and online chats (spread over 3 business days) about Indonesian family life, work culture, social customs, etc. 6. Conduct a 1-hour training session (via phone or web) on the daily interests/worries of the typical Indonesian adult professional. Writers will be asked to work for a 3-day period, during which they must be available for contact via phone or chat anytime between 8:30am~4:30pm (Jakarta time). Writers who provide the best work will be offered the opportunity to become a part-time or full-time freelance developer for this project, which is scheduled to launch in Indonesia in March and will require continual content creation on a daily and weekly basis. Keen insight into how Indonesian adult professionals think and feel 4. Ability to identify interesting, highly-marketable media stories 5.
