Management Application/Database Development software

My client (a non profit organization) seeks to manage their efforts under a single software or script whether it can be managed from their web site or standalone. If you know of an existing software or can develop one, let us know. I guess this type of technology they call Database development. The type of database they are looking to have should include: Client Registration, Daily Visits Module, Workshop Module, Reports Module, Client Survey Module, One on One Appointment Module, Companies - Contacts - Jobs Module and other daily stuff. Places like medicare facillities and just about any type of company uses this ype of software to manage their services, clients, events, training etc whether its online in their web site or a stand alone (desktop) application. If you know of an existing software, please advice me of your ideas so that you can be compensated.
