Write a Report

Task Description With a partner, or individually, students will create 5 questions for a student who is low achieving and 5 questions for a student who is high achieving. The questions are to be from a selected mathematics topic from any grade level 1-5. The task comes under the concept: “Differentiated Instruction”. Students are to give rationale for why each particular question was assigned to the low or high achieving student. The criteria issues that will form the RUBRIC of this assignment will include the following: 1. Appropriate difficulty level, as defined by Bloom’s Taxonomy, of each question to the level of each student. 2. Variety of question types: The five questions for each student should include the following types of questions: Word Questions, Questions with Diagrams, Questions with Pictures, Questions with Numbers and Symbols, and Questions with Tables & Charts in conjunction with Multiple Choice, True/False, Matching, and Short Answer 3. Question quality, as described in the “Week 3-3: Writing Good Test Questions” PowerPoint presentation on D2L. 4. Question rationale. 5. Correct grammar and spelling.
