I have a group of friends spread out across the United States. We frequently use [login to view URL] to play games with each other, taking turns when we get a chance. However, the site admin no longer allows submissions of new games, and his recent server upgrades have slowed down the site significantly. So, I want a website that hosts browser-based asynchronous multiplayer games similar to: [login to view URL] My request is to program an API for such a website to host games . The games themselves can be made by users and submitted for publishing by the web host (i.e. me). It would require log in, email, and light graphical interface, but would be light in design like www.gamesbyemail.com. Most of the coding background for the website is freely available via [login to view URL] The ideal candidate will be able to fulfill the programming requirements and also have a passion for playing and/or designing games. While this contract is solely for the website and game API itself, the ideal candidate would also be open to developing at least one initial game for the website in a follow-up contract. FAQ below: How does [login to view URL] work? The user selects a game, enters their email address and the other player(s) email address. In pre-determined order, users receive an email to remind them of their turn with a direct link to the game. Is it real time? No. Who can play? Anybody with an email address. Are the games object oriented? Yes What's the keyword to let you know I've actually read the full description? Cataphract Will there be any shopping or currency exchange? No
