Mixbook - Dj Flash Application For Facebook

Overview Mixbook will be a flash facebook application in which a user can mix two tracks together in a Dj Fashion. They will be able to drag in tracks onto the mixer and cue them up. Each sound in the application will be preloaded and non user definable (made by myself). Each loop will be 8 bars long set at the same bpm, meaning they will be able to sync up easily and last exactly the same time, eg a loop at 120 bpm for 8 beats will last 4 seconds. There will be around 60 -100 loops implimented into the application, all having there own categorie. After selecting the categorie i can then view a list of loops. So if i was to click drums, it would come up with a list of drum loops, eg, drumloop1.mp3. How this has to work i click play on track 1 with a drum loop going and looping over and over. I then click a melodie to start playing on track 2, but, the melodie can not start untill the loop currently playing on track 1 has finsihed. They will then be playing both at the same time, so when track 2 starts, track 1 should still be playing and looping. Required needs - This application will be on a server, so it will have to call loops from a folder. So i can upload at anytime. So all sounds will be in the “loops” folder on my server, then it will be split into the following categories, Drums, Melodies, Effects, Ambiance and bass. - Each track must have the folowing controls, 1 fader (track volume), play / pause button and a drag and drop loop into the track. - This is not a required need but would be very helpfull, if i could have a cross fader. You will see the function of these on all dj mixers - A proffesional look and feel, maybe follow and look at other dj mixers. - Not required but maybe a few audio effects, EQ and reverb ect with variable amounts. - If there could be a volume level meter that would be awesome. Things to look at. Currently only 1 extremely similer application i have seen is an iphone app called “deadmau5 II” or i think its also “touchmix” which is an extremly good example of exactly what i would like. Even if you could make it pretty much the same that would be very very cool. If theres any questions please ask. I will try my hardest to reply as soon as i can.
