Building a small standalone database application

I want you to create a standalone executable database that has the fields listed below: Date Entered Artist Name From Members Soundscan Label Website MySpace Additional Links Press Management Booking Legal Focus Track(s) Grade Seen Live Additional Comments I leave the type of DB up to you (ie. VB, Java etc), but I do want to hear your plan of implementation. I should be able to create new records, delete old records, edit current records, search by any of the fields. The database aesthetically doesn’t have to be too fancy, but I don’t want it too plain either. A few things about this: -Not all info has to be entered for a record to be saved (there may be some entries where all the info above is unknown) -I should somehow be able to change the order that these fields are displayed in (for both the database and the export) -This database should be something that could be easily modified at a later date by another programmer (ie if additional fields needed to be added, it would not be difficult to program) -Keep a tab on the total number of records and display it The last element is I want to be able to export any of the above fields of a single record to a .doc file. The default fields should be: Artist Name From Members Soundscan Label Website Press Management Additional Comments There should be an option for me to click which additional fields I want to export. This report should fit neatly into MS Word. It would be great if each of the fields were in bold and the information for those fields were in italics when they were exported. I’d also like to be able to modify any of the info after it has been exported (which I’m sure I could do anyway). If you have any questions please ask. I'm not sure how much additional info you need. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). 4) It is entirely possible that some minor details have been omitted unintentionally in the description. If this is the case, coder agrees to complete these minor additions so long as it is not anything major which will be at my discretion. ## Platform Windows XP
