Big Data project using Hadoop

I have a dataset (almost 450mb) containing crime data in Los Angeles, CA. The dataset is in a .csv file format. I would like to find out what the most common type of crime in each city in LA. I would also like to find out where most crimes take place, the most common type of crime and the safest area in LA. The project is not very complex, but it must be done using Hadoop (Big data) and documentation should be provided.
