We are looking to add a cartoonist/illustrator to our team who will create digital pencils and inks for the Beast Academy series ([login to view URL]). Beast Academy is a comic series from Art of Problem Solving ([login to view URL]) for elementary students who aspire to become math beasts. The existing print materials for Beast Academy include fully-illustrated guidebooks written and illustrated in an all-ages comic book style. Here’s what we’re looking for: · Strong cartooning skills. · Proficiency with the Adobe creative suite. · At least 1 year of experience drawing digitally on a Wacom or equivalent device. · An ability to match the style and quality of our current printed materials. · Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate effectively with the existing Beast Academy team of writers and artists.

Hi, I'm an experienced Videogame concept artist and comic artist. I was concept artist on 6 published games on various platforms (Wii,PS2,XBox 360,etc) including SpongeBob Squarepants: Creature From The Crusty Crab, Doctor Who and Reservoir Dogs. All of my videogame art was drawn in photoshop using a wacom tablet. I have also worked for over 10 years as a comic-book artist for DC and Marvel Comics, etc, working on Spider-Man, Justice League, Transformers, Thundercats, etc., as well as Britain's best-selling comic, The Beano. There are a couple of examples of my cartoon-style art for the Sony EyeToy videogames I worked on in my portfolio. NOTE: It's hard to give you an accurate bid for this, as it would depend on the number of pages of comic art required, but I'm certainly interested in working on Beast Academy. Thanks, Stephen

greetings Hello, i found this project quite a little late, i ben doing graphic design (mostly editorial and pagelayouts) and ilustration for local newspaper and worked on some educational projects with my university.(unfortunately most of the assests were locked by contract when the project was shut down before publishing due to admistrative issues). Hello, I would love to work on this project. Sounds very interesting and fun. I am very proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, ZBrush, 3D Studio Max and many other graphic art software(s). I have been a graphic artist for over 15 years. I would really love to be apart of a team helping young children learn to be Math Beasts. I loved myself and excelled in it only because I got lucky with my teachers that, somehow, were able to make it fun to learn. I have a wild imagination, also a dreamer, but I am all about quality versus quantity. I am fickle for details and making sure I am on the right page with those around me.
