Research Analyst We are looking for two (2) Research Analysts to work remotely/virtually for our Vancouver Project Office. The selected candidates will be responsible for the following activities at IEMR: 1. Database Management, Maintenance and Publication of Telecommunications Market Research Reports and Forecasts As part of IEMR's ongoing publications portfolio, you will be responsible for publishing large databases prepared by IEMR's global team. In this regard, your main responsibility will be to use your knowledge of Excel to produce and publish metrics that will be provided to you in raw data form. This will involve: • Using IEMR's established processes to take the raw data provided to you and transform this into published Excel reports • Based on these Excel reports, you will be responsible for preparing strategic and high-quality PowerPoint presentations outlining trends in various telecommunications verticals • Publish these Excel reports and PowerPoint Presentations on IEMR's website and dashboard properties for download by our customers • Electronic distribution of these reports to our third party partners • Marketing the above reports through press release production and distribution 2. Project Consulting in the Telecommunications Space In addition to the above, you will be undertaking primary B2B market research activities in the telecommunications space. This will involve: • Recruiting high-value B2B respondents from IEMR's Panels • Establishing detailed interview protocols for B2B research projects • Conducting in-depth custom interviews with industry executives in various telecommunications and IT domains • Based on these interviews, preparing PowerPoint presentations • Liaising with clients and internal IEMR teams Qualifications • 1 – 3 years of analysis experience with extensive business knowledge, particularly in the IT/Telecoms space • An undergraduate or graduate degree in a quantitative discipline with a preferable focus on IT/Telecoms • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel including VBA, Word, PowerPoint) • Proven ability to use research outcomes and analysis to develop meaningful industry insights • Possess excellent English communication and relationship building skills • Ability to manage, organize, and prioritize work to adhere to tight project deadlines • Demonstrated meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in a highly consistent manner
