i have a excel file with product data clothing and accessories this excel was prepared for magento product data structured mostly parent and child relation using attribues(size,color,pattern) child_sku1 child_sku2 ... parent_sku see attached [login to view URL] i need to convert this into slightly differnt format for [login to view URL] data feed format see [login to view URL] and 3 how to guide pdfs I need idea how to convert job automatic way, not copy & paste thing is this [login to view URL] will grow large,every day we add more products! if u deliver successful solution for [login to view URL] format, then i may need other formats too like [login to view URL] & [login to view URL] later pls. be noted, you are not working on sample sheet, but some kind of idea and/or solution i don't care what u call it pls. read my project description fully and sample excel file and pdfs do not blind bid!, if so, u waste valueable time of mine and urs too. ideal candidate should contact me with result(partital or whole using provided [login to view URL] sample). i know this description good enough understanding if u read sample excel and pdfs. A migration program required to read from magento csv and write to Rakuten format file. The main components of the software will include: - mapping files (in XML or JSON format) which map categories/attributes between Magento and Rakuten formats - Program that (roughly) does following: for each magento product entry create Rakuten product entry (to be filled in) get value of each Rakuten field from magento data as per the mapping files validate field values as per the mapping files (validation rules in Rakuten taxonomy PDF) if invalid skip this product entry else populate Rakuten product entry with field value Write the Rakuten product entry to a file (Tab separated values) end QUESTION: In case of invalid product field values should the program just skip current product and move on to next OR should program terminate with suitable message? NOTE: Maintaining a mapping file outside of the program makes this solution extensible to many other migration efforts that follow similar requirements.
