Need to stop Bots from Accessing WordPress Website, Causing Unwanted Traffic

There are currently bots, some self referring, that are going directly to our Wordpress website, causing our server provider to suspend my account due to the amount of traffic. We not only need this resolved, we need this not to happen again, so preventative maintenance is necessary. Please only reply if you can fix this issue ASAP
