We are looking for somebody to help make edits to the code on a WordPress website. The edits we are looking to have completed are the following: -Remove the word "Archive" on category pages before the category name. -Below certain posts and pages there are links to “similar projects" and “related posts”. One needs to be removed and the other needs to be renamed to related pages (or something similar). -Remove breadcrumbs. -Remove unnecessary pages and/or posts from showing up in the related posts/similar projects area. Eg. Posts made for a slider description or images are showing up in the related posts area. These need to be removed and not shown. -Homepage alignment. I'm not sure why, although the alignment of the homepage is inconsistent. When you load the page for the 1st time it might show properly but not always. Sometimes it is shifted over to the right leaving a large margin of white space on the left. Again, I can show you a version of the website where this does not happen. -Allow a category description to be displayed above and below the content on category pages. An example of what we are looking for can be provided. Please note that all changes made must stay even after the theme updates. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. *No milestones over 50% *There are 2 versions / themes for the website. One for mobile (AMP for wordpress) and 1 for desktop. You will only be responsible for the desktop theme, not the mobile amp version. *This theme appears to include the page title with the breadcrumbs. If you have any problems, I can show you / give you access to another version of the website with them removed. *Please type: “SEPT20”, somewhere in your proposal, so we know you read through the entire job listing.
