Create a single player Battleships style game. Objective, for the player to take on the role of fleet commander and find and sink the enemy fleet in as few a number of shots as possible. The game shall initialize a game board that is broken up into a 10x10 grid of sectors. Each sector is a target the player may attempt to hit a ship in. Each shot shall be visually shown. Each hit shall be visually shown. A list shall be kept of the following ships at a minimum: Aircraft Carrier (length 5) Battleship (length 4) Cruiser (length 4) Destroyer (length 3) Submarine (Length 2) The developer is free to rename the vessels as they see fit. Additional vessels may be added/removed. The player shall be informed of every shot taken, hit scored and remaining ships to be sunk. The player shall receive 100 shots maximum; however it is up to the developer if they wish to constrain this to increase difficulty. The player shall receive appropriate feedback at all stages of gameplay, including initialization, loading, game start and game completed. As always, develop a plan on paper outlining your app. Focus on user interface, entities and (player) actions. Evaluation: Completeness - fully running app, playable game Overall structure of your app appropriate use of all HTML5 elements, HTML, CSS, JavaScript Comments, annotation, whitespace, indentation - maintainability for future developers User interface and player feedback Polish and Creativity - use of HTML5 elements, art, gameplay that show a creative take on the app.
