I would like to be able to create an application that will allow to grab the prices from booking .com for a specific hotel The idea is to have the price per day for 365 days or for a specific period (5 months for example) The hotel web address: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] And lunch the crawler As soon as we have the prices, we need to create a price list For Room XXXXX 01.04 to 30.04: 50 euros 01.05 to 31.05 : 60 euros ...... We need to be able to run the script on demand and be able to get the price changes Example: 15.05 to 20.05 price was 50 euros and it is 45 now We will select the person who will be able to propose a clever way : 1. To crawl and get the 1st round prices without being obliged to check every single day/date 2. To check for price updated without being obliged to look for each single day/date We will need to use proxies in order not to be cut

Hi Alexis, hi Dimitri, regarding hotel price craling for prices over the year, I would suggest to either extend the scraping logic from your earlier car rental price software (ideally moving the data-driven part to a server for coping with the stability issues we had earlier), or to build a separate server-driven scraping script. Regarding a "clever way" to avoid querying every day, we discussed this earlier. The amount of queries can be reduced by allowing certain price spikes to be missed. It depends on the hotel's pricing structure if this would have any impact at all. Best regards, Isidor
