I am looking to hire an industrial designer with experience in watch design to take vintage pilot chronograph designs but with a taste of minimalism and contrast colours. I only need 1 watch design model, with 3 different colours to send to my Chinese suppliers for manufacturing. I will provide you with guidelines on this project watch (including but not limited to watch cases, preferred watch dials to be influenced with, bezels, rotors, pushers, crowns, etc) and they need to be different enough from the original vintage chronographs that I can comfortably sell them under my own brand. Requirements: To know basic knowledge and passion of watches. Designs from iconic watches from the 70s onwards is a good start. Have designed for watches, mostly for micro brand watches (Kickstarter, etc.) Have taste for minimalist watches, but unlike typical minimalists we are going to scale by putting some iconic watch designs. Background in 2D, 3D, CAD Modelling. Background in Industrial/Product Design. Please show me some portfolio of your past work upon applying.
