I would like to design a fixed based sundial that rotates electronically in 360 degrees to display text/characters via pixels providing shadows from a fixed light source that are turned on an off by the rotation of the arm and its angle to the fixed light source. Initially we need to develop the concept to be able to display any character from A - Z in fixed pixels that turn on and off to display them by the rotation around the light source then scale this to multiple pixels locations to project a shadow of letters that form words based on the rotation around the fixed light source to display in stationary positions at selected degree angles. We would like to replicate this but for text characters but for the box to rotate around the light source to display the shadow rather than the light source rotating to project the shadows.
