Proof of concept in C# /SQL Server

I am a software engineer with over 20 years of end-to-end development and design experience. I have been recruited to bring a concept from conceptual design to a working prototype. I will be the one providing the Software Requirement Specifications, Technical References and other detailed, supporting documentation to you. The project, at this phase, is to develop a working proof-of-concept to showcase the idea and some initial features. There will potentially be work for years to come based on the successful acceptance (by the target consumers of the software) of the efforts we put into this now. This will be an enterprise application running on an internal server with roughly 5 users to begin with. Currently we are leaning (strongly) to having the code written in C# (Visual Studio 2017) with SQL Server 2017 as our DB. You must be experienced and confident in your ability to create a data driven application. - Flat file imports - Manual data entry screens with proper edits/restrictions/masks... - Logging of all activity - Full record retention (no records get deleted) - Outputs to flat files and screens Any and all documentation/concepts/designs/intellectual property and code written by this engagement are currently or will fall under my ownership. This engagement will require a non-disclosure non-compete agreement between us prior to any further details being released. It is important that we can communicate effectively and as often as necessary. If you are in, or near, Northern New Jersey, USA, that would be best for collaboration. Other locations will be considered based on availability. None of this work is overly complicated if you know what you are doing. All of the calculations/rules/expected results will be provided in great detail. Your expert opinion/suggestions will matter to us as we are experts as well, and respect a true professional. We are looking to get something working very quickly - so if you are in the middle of a project, and can't dedicate your time to this effort, please do not pursue this.
