Shopify template menu display to show differently on ipad than on mobile devices

I'm looking for a shopify expert to edit my sites menu so that it shows the full menu when shown on iPads and other tablets but changes to a drop down menu when viewed on smaller devices, my site currently displays correctly on the ipad when held in landscape mode but then switches to mobile drop down menu when held in portrait mode. Thanks
