Salesforce Custom Object APEX Integration

Hello Alex, as discussed over mail I will implement the feature with point 2. i.e -- Let's use the standard lead conversion screen and functionality with mapping as is. Salesforce will do everything for the client. Now, we will have a trigger which will be called only while lead conversion, this trigger will interpret the process and will do extra customization like create a new record of Booking with the specified mapping. Mapping for account and contact with lead while converting can be specified with salesforce standard configuration screen. The trigger will create Booking record regardless of the choice to create opportunity at the lead conversion screen. PROS - The effort will be significantly less. We are using Salesforce standard functionality with custom extension. CONS - There cannot be a separate button named - "convert to Booking". The Convert standard button must be used. Label or text of this button cannot be changed in Salesforce. Opportunity checkbox will be there in the conversion screen but that won't impact their process. The trigger will create the Booking record with required functionality and automate their system around it.
