IPhone Time measurement / multi-task stop watch(repost)

This app is primarily designed for the Iphone. The purpose of the app is to observe a system such as a process, a person, or a machine over a period of time (typically well less than one hour). The system can be in various states. The state transitions are entered by the observer by clicking a button on the screen. The output of the app is a report that tells the observer how long the system was in each state. It also can create a report highlighting in which state the system was at each moment in time. Example application: A consultant observes a worker that carries out multiple tasks and sometimes is idle. When the worker switches tasks (or becomes idle), the consultant presses the corresponding button on the Iphone. At the end, the consultant gets a report that shows how long the worker has spent on each task and how long he was idle. ## Deliverables Example applications: A consultant observes a worker that carries out multiple tasks and sometimes is idle. When a player obtains the ball, he clicks on the name of that player. When the player passes on the ball or loses the ball, he clicks on the player that obtains the ball next (or on a button saying "no one has the ball" or "other team has the ball"). At the end of the game, the team manager can analyze the ball possession statistics. An anthropologists observes a meeting of managers and want to record who speaks how much during the meeting. Whenever somebody starts saying something, the observer clicks the name of that person and the clock starts ticking. Flow of the app 1. Welcome screen 2. Define a new template or load an existing template 3a. If new template: define the number of states and enter a text (up to 16 characters) for each of the states; offer to save the template for future use 3b. If existing template: show the previously saved templates 4. Observe the process: this screen shows all tasks; every task is a button; at the start, all buttons are green; click on a task button to start the observation; the clock of that state / task is running then. The button of that state/task is now red. Once I click on another green button, the clock of the previously running task stops and that button turns green. The newly touched button turns red and the corresponding clock starts running. 5. Click on "Stop" to end the overall observation 6. The output is generated in the following ways: - a log: a scrollable list of tasks and the durations -a summary: for each task, the total time the system was in that state is reported - export: a list containing of the raw data (the log) is emailed as a csv file or excel file Example screen shots will be provided as a pdf.
