Wordpress Function - Simple Task

I need someone to create a function for the plugin attached to trim/reduce the number of words entered in the meta tag description (<meta name="description" content=") by the plugin. The function needs to be added to the theme function file – not the plugin. Don’t mess with the plugin at all. Maybe something like this: $content = wp_trim_words($page_object->post_content,25); Number 25 above is changeable and it controls the number of words entered by the plugin in the: <meta name="description" content=" Summary The meta tag description are entered automatically by the plugin so you need to create a function to trim or reduce the number of words entered. Wordpress, Plugins and Function creations are required.
