Update and improve PHP/SQL family directory custom software

The php application “Family Directory” was developed last year by a freelancer. It takes 3 CSV input files: Parents w/ Addresses (ID as primary key), Students (with ID as primary key), and relationships (to match up parent ID’s with Studnet ID’s) that populate a SQL DB. The PHP app creates an interface for a directory that is searchable by parent name, student name, homeroom (from student CSV) or Grade level (from student CSV). The site is hosted on a Siteground host. Features to add: • Add ability to display family with up to 4 parents • Match theme of rest of website • Create responsive design (or close enough) • Add security so that URL cannot be passed around easily • Add cron job that pulls files from SFTP site on a nightly basis to update the directory • Translate raw export file so that it outputs teacher name instead of room number (I can supply a lookup table) Bugs to eliminate: • When there is only 1 child in a family, only one (not both) parents are displayed • When importing, it always shows label "Students", even when importing other CSV's, and is very picky about closing the window and possibly order/timing of uploads
