I need a simple login system or 'remember me' function. I consider this a really small project. The current site: User goes to my site - [login to view URL] The site has a form, where you can enter text/a password. The word/password the user enters defines what url he is sent to. So if he enters the word ‘spartan’, he is sent to [login to view URL] - and if he enters ‘balboa’, he is sent to [login to view URL] What I need: The current system is working. But since users will keep coming back to the site, it would be nice, if they didn't had to write the password again and again. So I need some kind of system that enable people to be remembered by the site after the first time they have entered the password. Its not important if it is a login system or just a remember me-checkbox. I just want people entering [login to view URL] transfered directly to [login to view URL] if they have entered the password spartan the last time they visited. ‘spartan’ and ‘balboa’ is two of the words. But there will be several words so the words should not be registered in a file or a database. Any word entered will generate some kind of url. The current site is build with bootstrap so the system will have to be compatible with it. Guess that shouldn't cause problems. It also means that styling is not a part of the job so dont waste time on that. You can have the current code, but I guess it will be easier to write the code from scratch. Nice to have: It would be fine if the text-input isn't case sensitive. All passwords will be lowercase so it would be nice if you can't write capital letters in the form. It would also be nice to have some kind of logout-function. But if it means a higher price, its not important.

I can make the required functionality with the use of cookies and the logout is not a problem so i will make it. I propose to use check box under the password box and to use the existing code because it will be easier but if you don't want to show your code or to give access for the ftp server i can make it on my server and send you link to test the script.

Hello, Well access to the code will be necessary, to embed directly in the current site the desired log in system. That logout function would be useful because if a user goes to the status page he will be automatically redirected to the auto page, and wont have a way to go to another page; but I won;t charge extra for this functionality. I can start right now. Regards

Hi, Based on what you need, I can do it in 2 possible ways 1 . use the browser localStorage and redirect the user if it has already entered a password 2. use a server side php to read cookie and redirect the clients I recommend the first option since it is better and faster to implement. If you need to clear something please feel free to ask me for more details
