Create an program which will Update Stock File stored at a FTP location A Collect 3 x CSV file(s) data (stock & prices) from 2 different ftp locations B & C ( 1 location contains 2 different branches - this needs to be added together to give a final stock figure ) - File 1- contains 10,000 item codes , File 2 - 12,000 codes , File 3 - 23,0000 codes Add the data together from File 1 & 2 , then with File 3 update our [login to view URL] at ftp location A with the latest stock figures. [login to view URL] contains approx 20,000 item codes - which need to be updated with the latest stock .They are mixture of the 45,000 codes above. Then , Create 3 different data feeds (CSV files) based on the new updated [login to view URL] and send them all to a different ftp location : D This needs to run automatically approx every 2-3 hours during business hours. All of the data is relating to stock product codes containing a mixture of letters and numbers.

If using PHP then you could use ftp_xxx functions for this purpose. Where xxx would be various functions such as ftp_login, ftp_quit, ftp_get, etc. Then wrap the php script into a cron-job which would be set on certain work time you wish. It can be configured from your web server control panel. So the system will execute it any time you want. Let me know the sample of file you need to process. Once I got the clear logic, this would be a very quick solution
