Create backups of Key AWS resouces to US-West-region using Cloud Formation Script

Cloud Formation Template to backups of VPC configs Subnets Security Groups Network ACLs route 53 names VPC peering connections vpc endpoint customer gateway VPN connections Virtual Private Gateway Elastic IPS Internet Gateway route tables dhcp option sets ENI ELBs target Groups autoscaling groups EC2 instance definition The cloud formation script will allow us to recreate VPC's and instances in the event of emergency. Please store this cloud formation script on Amazon S3 with tight control on access to the s3 bucket (Only a specific IAM role for administrators). Configure s3 bucket for multi-region replication to US West Region VM's are backed up automatically nightly using snapshots. Please create a weekly script to copy snapshot of production VMs (tagged stack="PROD") to us-west-region. We should also copy key development resources such as the jenkins VM and Subversion servers. With these cloudformation scripts and our nightly snapshots we could recreate our VPC in another region if necessary. Also, please update the nightly snapshot backup job to automatically tag the snapshot that are copied with "components", "stack", "purpose". these tags will be important so that we can identify the snapshots when recreating the environment.
