Buddypress plugin and WP theme customization

SCOPE *********** ///////User scenario: 1. User logs in 2. User joins 2 groups "Painting 10th century" and "Sculpture 10th century". 3. From a dropdown menu, the user selects 2 groups activity streams to look at: "Painting 10th century" and "Sculpture 10th century". 4. User can see the blended activity streams of the 2 groups (ordered by Event date, not Post date). 5. User joins the group "Painting 10th century". 6. User posts a Post (we call it "Event") on the activity stream of the group "Painting 10th century": a. the fields are: Title, date, characters(array), locations(array). b. the characters are links and predefined. 7. Other users can comment on the post. ///////Plugin to customized: Buddypress. The db should have additional tables such as wp_character, wp_characterGroup and wp_location, ect... ///////Theme: Customize the Buddypress theme (see attached screenshot) into an exact look and feel of [login to view URL] which includes: - creating 2 widgets: one positioned on the left that contains the groups, and one positioned on the right that contains the selected stream post and the comments. - each item (group) in the groups widget can be selected or unselected just like a checkbox.
