word to html while uploading

I have a buddypress (wordpress) site where i want users to search within the uploaded word documents. For this, i believe we have to change the word document to a HTML page (normal web page) while uploading or after uploading so that i can create a search feature. Or there can be any other way, you can suggest me.

If the user upload the word document, It will save a copy and convert it to html dynamically, thus it can be searched by the user in the future. I can do this.
