"Simple" Customer Loyalty System for a small retail shop. General requirements: Online - Internet based (web based) existing platform: Linux shared hosting platform, with PHP, Drupal7 Customer DB: -Customer Name, Surname, Address, Contact no 1 (cell), Contact No 2 (tel), Email Address -Purchase Information includes: Transaction Date, Transaction Amount, Payment method (cash/card), Ref no1 -Voucher: Voucher No, Issue date, redeemed date System operation: -Customer will be issued with a loyalty card. containing a customer no in the form of a barcode/or microchip -The customer details will be entered by an operator who will also issue the loyalty card. -After a customer has completed a purchase, an operator will scan the customer loyalty card/no and enter the transaction details (Transaction date (required), Transaction amount(required), Ref no Optional)) -Vouchers are issued (and is printed with name of customer, customer no (as barcode) and a unique voucher no (as barcode) -Optional security check: voucher can only be printed once the customer no has been scanned (from the loyalty card) (this should be optional - either on or off - system flag) -When a customer redeems a voucher, the voucher is scanned (security check: both the customer no and voucher no to be scanned and matched). the voucher no is then voided (cannot be re-printed without supervisory override) -Two system users: Supervisor (Admin), System Operator Options: -Loyalty points (for each $ there a certain loyalty point is awarded) - either as "multiplier" or "value" -Bonus points - Table (for every x points award y points) -the Option to manually adjust any customers points (supervisory, restricted option with logging) examples: for each $1 purchased > allocate 1 point = 1 point ..by value for each $1 purchased > allocate 2 = 2points ..by multiplier for each 1000 points > allocate 100 points bonus System Reports: *List of Customers (Active/purchased by days/inactive) *Loyalty points per customer/totals for a period *Print voucher(s), by selection criteria (specific customer, all customers, due for certain date range) *reprint voucher(s) (supervisory option) *Print Customer details *Special feature: option to SAVE vouchers as PDF, and option to email to the customer (default email/ alternative user-entered email) Customer functionality: -Customer cannot self register or cancel an account -Customer can register/change password (customer no is the "username") -purchases report (default display:this month, alternative options: last month, all, by date range) -loyalty report - display current loyalty points (optional link to purchases) -voucher report (display a list of all vouchers (date, value, status (valid/cancelled/redeemed)) that have been issued) Interface: Clean page layout/web interface
