Referral System for existing Customer Portal

The Referral System is an added modules to complement the existing BolehVPN Portal System. The production Portal System is currently available for viewing at https://portal.bolehvpn.net. It is developed purely in PHP and MySql as its database. Currently it is handling a total of 8000 registered users and conducting an average of 2000 users commercial transaction a month. This added module will form part of the main portal system and will provide the referral marketing capabilities and benefits to the registered users. This new module is to be developed in PHP and will integrate with the existing system. Access to source code for the existing system will be given to those successful in bidding for this job. Of course all source code will still remain the property of our company. Scope of Works will include the following: 1. Understanding the current database and process flow of the current system 2. Enhancing the database by adding new tables and new fields to existing tables to complement the new features 3. The technical process design given will be for guidance only. Additional requirement is welcome for as long as the system works smoothly 4. Based on the design it is expected that the duration to complete the job will not be more than a month, with a prototype ready for testing within 2 weeks of contract awarded. 5. All previous look and feel must be incorporated to the new module. 6. All tests must be done by the contractor prior to User Acceptance Test 7. Description of new tables and fields must be given upon completion of the development 8. A project timeline for the development, test and commission of the module must be made available before start of work 9. Development Server with the main portal system source code will be made available to the successful bidder. Full access to the development server will be given. 10. All works must be done on the development server 11. Progress report/update to be given as and when asked 12. Main changes to existing system will be at the Registration and Ordering Modules. FEATURES The system is expected to allow all registered users to send referral email to their intended friends. This is a TAF(Tell A Friend) system which will keep tracks of all emails sent out as well as tracking successful and unsuccessful TAF.
