Hi David, how are you? Can you have a look at a project idea of mine? I have been too ambitious in my project 'playground directory website and app'. I tried the new vworker feature of the 'trailsoursing', but nobody thinks he can do it. Now I have been doing a little research myself to make the job a little easier. I got a point of interest file (xml) wich contains (among other points) all playgrounds in The Netherlands (Holland). This way it is no longer necessary to get the data from a 10Gb geo-info file. I would like to ask you how much time (money) you think you would need to use this data to make a website with this features: - visitors of my website can find a playground nearby, based on an adress (use google geocode) - auto-attach a picture for each playground from google streetview (preferably: make streetview look in the right direction) (only if a streetview image is available of course) - possibility for visitors / users to give their opinion: in text (comments) and photo, as well as a couple of star-ratings (ie: nice for young kids, nice for bigger kids, safe, natural. I'll provide you with details) as well as a possibility add a playground (users log in with a password or google or facebook) - the comments can be moderated by a moderator. She has a dashboard in witch she can set moderation setting level: auto-approve all, auto-approve from registered users, auto-approve from users that have one approved comment, approve everything manual. - Visitors of the website can search by location (google maps or open streetmap), and filter by the average of the strar-ratings. (ie: I only want to see playgrounds that have 4 stars for little kids) Later an app (iphone as well as android) has to be made as an interface to this data, so a simple api must be available for the app has the same functionality as the website. (ie search a playground nearby, maybe get directions from google navigation, give a rating, add a playground, add a picture to a playground, add a comment) not in this job: - making the app - making a design for the website (I will get you a html/css to put on the website.
