Prospective members will need to provide their personal details; such as name, address, payment details etc. via a web-based interface when applying for membership. The staff of the gymnasium will require their own (secure) web-based interface to allow them to view member information, update, delete and produce management report. The web-based interface will be built using Dreamweaver MX. The back-end database will be implemented using an Oracle or Access DBMS. The data held in the gymnasium&'s database would include, a timetable of gymnasium activities, activity price lists, activity details, membership details, etc. Additionally, the web-based interface will need to include pictures of the gymnasium and available activities, as well as contact details, and interactive membership and activity booking forms. The staff of the gymnasium will require their own (secure) web-based interface to allow them to view member information, update prices and activity information, and produce management report. The on line registration and booking system will help to speed up the membership application process, saving administration data input time. The online booking facilities will reduce the waiting time associated with booking over the phone and allow 24 hour booking. The methodology to be applied during project development will be select SSADM. The web-based interface will be built using Dreamweaver MX. The back-end database will be implemented using an Oracle DBMS. Java JSP&'s and JDBC will be used to connect the web-based interface to the back-end database. ## Deliverables 1. Develop the specified gymnasium&'s database using an Oracle DBMS. The deliverable will be a set of Oracle tables and SQL queries that meet the database&'s design specifications. 2. Create the gymnasium&'s web-based interface using the agreed web page prototype designs, and connect the interface to the gymnasium&'s Oracle database. 3. The completed system will be tested and evaluated to ensure that it fully satisfies the user&'s requirements accurately and completely.
