Joomla Membership Site - Help Needed

I have a Joomla site that uses the AEC membership Manager. I am having issues with it and my original developer is not available. I need help resolving this. The main problem is that when someone renews membership without paying thru PayPal, and I need to edit their account manually, while there is an option to enter the date of renewal, it still always saves it as todays date instead of the date I chose, which means many of the membership account dates are messed up. I need this fixed and if another solution would work better, that is fine. In addition, there are a few minor Joomla changes I need help with including: a) A public page to include affiliate marketing links and banners b) Some possible content changes I am also looking for help with another Joomla site that was started by this developer but never finished.
