40575 Online Magazine Payment System

We have tried to be thorough with our description, however we are open to any questions. CANNED RESPONSE BIDS WILL BE REJECTED OUTRIGHT! READ THE REQUIREMENTS BELOW AND ONLY BID IF YOU ARE ABLE TO DO THE WORK. A GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF THE WRITTEN ENGLISH LANGUAGE IS NECESSARY. We require a payment system for purchasing an online magazine. This project should be completed in PHP4+ and a MySQL database. People will visit the magazine's website, click a link to "purchase online", then be directed to a registration/payment page (example: [login to view URL]). On this page they must choose how many magazine issues they would like to purchase. Based on the number of issues they choose, a discount *may* be offered (see DISCOUNT below). They must also choose a username and password so they can: 1) login later to access the magazine, 2) see how many issues they have remaining, and 3) order more issues if they wish. (See LOGIN below.) Once the registration page is filled out, the user should be presented with a review page showing how many issues they are getting and a total price (with the ability to go back and make changes). From there, they should click a "Continue" link which will send all the data to InternetSecure (the payment processor) via html form post to take payment. InternetSecure will post payment results back to the magazine website after completing each transaction. You'll need to accept this data and, if the payment was successful, credit the user's account with the number of issues ordered. Their account should then be automatically granted access to the online magazine. DISCOUNT The discount levels should be specified in an admin area. There may or may not be a discount specified. If no discount is specified, obviously the end user does not receive a discount. In the admin area, the site owner should be able to specify multiple discount levels. These levels should consist of 2 fields: 1) the number of magazine issues, and 2) the percentage discount offered for that number of issues purchased. LOGIN A login script is required to allow users to login to their account to see the magazine, for viewing the number of magazine issues remaining, and for ordering more issues. They will login from a form that we will supply. The form will simply provide username and password fields, and point to your login script. We already have the main website completed, so all we need from you is the backend and a couple forms, as described above. The site must be compatible with Internet Explorer 6.0+ and Mozilla Firefox 1.0+ We are not necessarily looking for the lowest bid on this project, but price is a determining factor in selecting a successful designer. After we choose a programmer and the project has begun, please note that we are are quite happy to be called upon with questions or to review work. We will provide whatever information is necessary to assist you. All ownership of the work is automatically transferred to us upon payment.
