Booking management system (basic operations at first)

Please see the briefing document attached, it has a link to a weburl which will show a page by page breakdown of the project. This is the first part of a much larger system (called Eve) that will be used for booking / reservation management for hotel rooms. If we are happy with the way you implement this system, we will consider you for the much larger project which will (if the foundation is good) be built on top of this system, or the below will be recreated in the much larger system which involves a more detailed booking process, report generation, hotel apartment owner statistics, and payment gateway integration. The system as it currently stands must complete these main goals: ? Create a booking reference number that can be used across our other internal software systems, and 3rd party online systems to create a way to easily track bookings. ? Ensure that we add the booking to our main systems via making sure we complete check boxes. ? Track that guests have paid their deposit and final amount of money owed. ? Allow us to mark down when we have sent reminders, made phone calls in regards to the booking and deactivate the booking if required ? Basic stats to be generated from the bookings added to the system, including how many bookings each (system user) has taken per day, week, month, year. To ensure the delivery of this product as required, I have created a page by page design in full html / jquery / css / markup will be provided – so the database fields can be implemented within the framework of the design.
