I'm looking to give users of my website the option to upload videos created by my site to their own youtube channels. The users would just need to enter their youtube login details, enter video information and click 'upload' on the video they want uploaded. As the videos can be up to 10 minutes long, some kind of upload progress information would be useful to relay back to the users. Ideally, I would also like the option to upload videos via an automatic process (triggered as a cron job) to my own youtube channel without needing to login manually each time. I'm able to create the UI myself and the videos already exist, I just need the functions to allow the user to login to their youtube account and upload the video and associated meta data.

Hello, I went through your project description and understand what you want. You are basically looking for a Google App that will authenticate the user, take permission to get their channels and upload videos to the selected channel. Videos will be uploaded directly from your website to the user's channel. You can also use the code through a cron job, but in that case the app will need a special permission for offline access. You will have to get a refresh token, save it somewhere and use that to make offline api calls. I'll also be providing thorough documentation so that everything is clear.
