Web Site Design and Development Project

I need a small, relatively straightforward site created for a new client of mine. They're a home improvement company, specializing in things like home remodeling, decks, siding, etc. The site they want is going to be mostly static pages containing their basic business information, a contact form, a page of "specials" (discounted projects), and a page concerning their "seed home" project. These will all be very simple and can be handled with straight HTML and/or PHP. In addition, the site will need a page on which three printable coupons appear. That page will need some administrative capability so they can change things like the discount offers ($50 off, or 20% off, etc.), the conditions, and the expiration dates. Finally, the site will need a photo gallery which they can adminster themselves, and which will be integrated into the rest of the site. Under the "Services" category, there will be subcategories for each of their areas of work (Kitchens, Decks, Bathrooms, Siding, etc.) and those subcategories will link directly into the photo gallery where "before" and "after" photos of their work can be displayed with captions. I'd suggest either Coppermine (<[login to view URL]>) or Snipe Gallery (<[login to view URL]>) since they're pretty easy for the customer to use, but would welcome recommendations for other photo gallery software as well. The customer already has a logo and has supplied a number of photos which can be integrated into the site design. The site will be hosted on our servers, and the winning bidder will receive all the necessary login information and assistance with database creation as needed. Questions? Thanks! ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Server runs FreeBSD and Apache. MySQL installed and PHP supported.
