Audio capture application

Would like to have an application running on Windows XP, Vista, 2000, 98 to monitor the audio IN plug, capture audio and save into MP3 file. ## Deliverables Job requirement: * An application running which listen / capture audio IN in raw wav and save into computer * Convert the captured audio into MP3 (pause for eg. 5 sec then auto save) * Some kind of Audio wave visual necessary to show when capturing * Basic Cropping, front / end feature * Basic player control panel * Select file name for play or delete or upload to a PHP file. ? ? (We will have a php file to accept the MP3 file, you don’t need to write this part, just call the php with file path)? Line in detection: * We have many audio device which will plug into for audio capture * We need to have a way to indentify which audio device is plugged in * Will make the audio device to send out initial waive signal “eg. frequency x 3 sets, repeat 2 times?? to identify which device. * If NO unique identifier, then it will count as Generic device * OR any suggestions are very appreciated.? Application spec: * Win32, written by VB, C, etc. Need to be a standalone exe file, no installation needed. * Can min in tray icon, monitoring in background * When double click tray icon, will show application interface (wave visual, player control, file list)
