Video conferencing software project

We need to devlop a video conferencing system. Below are the details, please review it and make sure you understand everything there. I would only like to work with developers that have experience in video conferencing, Windows media streaming and encoding. First of all, to develop the video conferencing end of the project, you can use the netmeeting or (maybe you have yours) or any other API/SDK you need to make this project, so you don't have to work from scratch. I just prefer, that it doesn't have the Netmeeting name or the Microsoft supplied skins showing. The first one is a schematic of the system. the next one is a screenshot mockup of what I want to see on the page. The system will have two cameras: 1- A standard webcam for the videoconferencing 2- A High resolution camera for doing the recording/encoding. Our tests were very successfull using Microsoft's Windows media encoder, available freely from their site, to encode video and upload to the streaming server (Broadcasts on a port), and then to watch it from the other side. We were also successful using netmeeting to do the videoconferencing. Basically, now we need a system that has both working on the same page/system so it can do what we want it to do. - Now for the requirements Both sides will have identical machines and equipment, and any software necessary will be installed identically. Both sides will need to log into the server or website to be allowed to connect to each other and the system. Of course the netmeeting end is just using the server to discover both side's IP addresses and connect them P2P after that (very similar to how ICQ connects both sides with netmeeting). Once logged in, the system will give the user (from both sides) the capability to do the following: 1- Send and receive the picture from camera 1 (the webcam). 2- Encode and upload or broadcast (whatever you want to call it), the picture from Camera 2 for the other side to see (of course there will be a delay in this process, it is not live, there is buffering in the streaming process). 3- Each will see the other side's encoded/uploaded stream from the server, as if it's a windows media video file. 4- Be able to monitor and record camera 2, even when not in a conference (for archiving or sending video file purposes). 5- Of course be able to t ## Deliverables Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete design work, documentation and source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform Linux/NT combination (NT or Win2000 server work is needed for the streaming, linux part for authentication and the website that will do the authentication, and general sales. ## Deadline information I need to see samples of work done before in video conferencing, preferrably test a system between me and you the developer with video conferencing. I need to see some alpha type results in 2 weeks. Our time is short.
