Fix XHTML, jQuery and CSS issues on homepage

I have DotNetNuke 5.2.3 installed for a client. At home page i have about 65 errors. About 30 of them coming from news section. About 6 of them coming from a wrapper module, that lets you collect multiple modules inside one module. I used table container at there, if we convert it to div container (module itself supports this method, however backgrounds lost) About 30 of them can be easily solved by "Search For and Replace Rules" from PageBlaster (note: You must provide these rules, and you must understand regex to place correct rules) I know that about 30 of errors coming from attached template. Review ([login to view URL]) Because it has h1 h2 and div tag inside an anchor tag. However, moving anchor tag inside those tags solve the xhtml problem but broke the featured news section, because of the predefined jquery section on my skin. see attached jquery file ([login to view URL]) I have PageBlaster installed on this portal, this module allows to replace page output. (eg. replacing </br> with <br />.... You can also find attached files for css.. I have converted most of tables on homepage to divs, but you must convert remaining ones, Home page must validate XHTML Transitional 1.0, if it won't validates, i won't accept the work as completed.
