I have long years of experience in C# development. I've built distributed testing app for high school with server being professor's PC and students communicating with server using classic sockets (app to app). Other than that I've made remotely controlled desktop (WinForms) music player that was contacted from PHP script on other web server (with public IP) by click of a button to change the song.
