NB: Full specification available in attached file ------------------------------------------------ Work Specification: ------------------------------------------------ Overview: 1: Assist with the setup of a DB/website portal (as required) 2: Build login form 3: Create code to validate, read/write login details to DB 4: After login, go to 'Main Menu' form with a single 'Quit' button. 5: Code the Quit button to exit the Main Menu, update the DB and return to the Login form 6: Send email to User ------------------------------------------------ General Notes: ------------------------------------------------ 1: This work request is the start of a larger project. 2: The purpose of exposing only the start of this project, is to evaluate: 2A: A developers suitability for the rest of the project 2B: Professionalism and style of coding 2C: Time taken to complete a task (development hours and time to deliver finished work) 2D: How well the developer understands and adheres to a technical specification 2E: How responsive the developer is in communication 3: The application must be editable in the Visual Studio IDE using Visual Basic as the programming language. 4: The appearance (colour/fonts/layout) is not of any importance at this point 5: The DB and tables will be already created and available for use
