NFC App Proof of concept (React-Native)

Hi, I have ALREADY DEVELOPED similar APP that was for NFC payments and I believe your work is quite similar. Storing the UID of the app in DATABASE e.g ( UID: 1234455: Table No: 3 ) and when we scan ( 123445 then the app pops up Table No: 3). Just a quick question should I use local database for now as this for now right as this app is just a PROOF OF CONCEPT. Later when we go for a complete app I will shift it to online FIREBASE database which provides 5GB of free storage initially. I am an EXPERIENCED React Native Engineer and have 2+ years full time and 3 years freelancing experience. I am proficient in React Native, Redux, Firebase and Javascript with excellent knowledge of native iOS and Android development, This multi domain experience gives me an excellent grasp of the Mobile Development Ecosystem, which I believe is an essential requirement of this role.
