We finalized the following specs. 1) quadcopter 2) carbonfiber frame, x 3) 2500kv motor 4) 350mah battery 5) kakute 6) rpi zero 7) pdb + xt60 It's necessary to design just altitude hold, remote control for the drone and basic maneuvers. full autonomy needs more like GPS and so on. it's more expensive. can't be done in MATLAB, needs telemetry, gcs and so on. an open source flight controller is recommended for faster work.
