I work as a full stack developer, and have gone through the django+nginx or django+apache2 configuration process many times. I also replaced Gunicorn for uWSGI and vice-versa, depending on the project requirements.

I have done this many times before setting up and developing websites with python and django for my clients. My standard setup uses nginx, postgreSQL, gunicorn and a virtual environment to keep your django apps environment separated from linux. I can set it up and give you a list of commands needed to maintain and update your source from source control, reload the website etc, anything you need. It will take me no longer than an evening to do this.

Hi, I've build many web apps using Python/Django, going from Django 1.4 to 1.8, and with python 2 and 3 versions… I set them up on Ubuntu linux servers with Apache servers. This should be easy for me. What Linux distribution do you run on your OS? I will just need an SSH access to the server, the location of your Django project and the name of your subdomain, and anything else you would like me to know :) I will also might need to configure the right permissions so you can push app updates to your server as a simple non-privileged user, without having to restart the whole server. I do this all the time on my servers where I have multiple python apps running. the stack I use is apache, passenger to serve the python, and virtual environments if really needed.

I work everyday with django deployment on linux. I have lots of experince with it. I work on centos, servers and VMs. for application server i use gunicorn, process control supervisord, and nginx as staticfiles server. Hope i can help.
