JAVA BASED GAME PROJECT -- 2

NEXUSNODE IS LOOKING FOR A COUPLE OF Java Games Developers to join their team. Main tasks • Working with games java lead, project managers, business owners, and external customers to implement new projects and functionality in a fast-paced agile environment • Work alongside a global cross functional team under the guidance of the Games Java Lead • Maintenance of existing code including bug fixes and optimisations • Identifying root cause of incidents to improve operational efficiency and deliver suitable solutions • Documenting developed solutions • Experience working in small teams, using agile methods • Results driven, assertive and independent • Proven experience of working on multiple projects in a fast-paced team Requirements • 3 - 5 years’ experience in Java games development • In-depth knowledge of core Java; • Java 8 and JavaEE; • Strong analytical and reverse engineering skills; • Source Control Management (BitBucket, Crucible); • Experience of high and low level design, architecture and modelling; • Build & Continuous Integration tools (Maven, Jenkins, Ansible); • Application/Web servers (Tomcat, Tomee, Apache); • Strong experience with message brokers (Rabbit MQ, Redis) • Web Application frameworks (SpringMVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security); • Other Enterprise level technologies (CDI, JAXB, JAX-RS, Taglibs, Servlets, JSP, AMQP, JMS); • Webservices, REST and Enterprise Integration (Spring Boot, JAX-RS, CXF, Camel); • DB (Cassandra, Mongo, SQL Server); • Experience with Containers, Docker; • Microservice Paradigm; • Self-motivated and solution-oriented
