Application for Financial Markets/Trading

We are a research group which is also formed by university professors and which is focused on financial time series modeling and trading systems development. We are looking for a developer in the area of Milan, Italy that will work full-time developing a system mainly in Java that will serve to receive data and send orders through an API to [[login to view URL]][1] Additionally since we are working in the field data mining/machine learning and search/optimization algorithms (AI such as neural networks, evolutionary algorithms, etc.) knowledge of such topics would be ideal. It would be also very good to have knowledge of signal processing. But what is most important at least in this phase of the project is to have a strong background in information technology since a large part of the work has to do with interfacing our systems with online trading and brokerage services and managing high resolution/frequency data. Finally a strong academic background with ideally a Master degree level is a must. The job position is for people who might be interested and available also for a long term position.
