Augmented Reality App

This augmented reality Project will be part game and part publicity. This app will use an image as a marker, containing cartoons of fruits. These fruits will come to life with the AR app and the user will be able to interact with them. The game will show a cup and the different fruits (a maximum of three) running around a surface trying to escape the user’s screen. The user will be able to “push” the fruits running or try to capture them and put them inside the cup. However, the fruits will be able to try to escape the cup while the user tries capturing all three fruits. Once the user has captured all fruits a video will appear showing a congratulations message. This video must be included in the app itself, not as a link. FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS 1. The app must run properly on the following Operating Systems (OS) a. Android 4.0 + b. iOS c. Windows Mobile d. Blackberry 2. During the game only three fruits will be shown, however there will be at least seven different types of fruits to be shown on the game. 3. The app will have full interaction with the user and will allow multiple touch functionalities. 4. Every time the user loads the app the types of fruits will vary between the seven existent fruit types, selecting only three for every game. 5. Each of the seven different types of fruits will have two unique sounds. The first one will sound while running away around the screen and the other one when trying to escape the “grab” from the user and while inside the cup. 6. Each of the seven different types of fruits will not vary on their design, but the “facial expressions” will change between two types. The app must be developed using the Vuforia Qualcomm platform and the Unity 3D engine. 8. The code and files must be delivered entirely.
