If the project is completed, the Employer can release the payment If the project is cancelled amicably, the Service Provider can cancel the payment and the money will return to the Employer's account. If there are any disputes over a project, the Dispute Resolution System can be used to get Freelancer.com staff to look at the situation. Freelancer.com encourages its users to send and receive money with the Milestone Payment system, because it's another great way to make sure everyone gets what they want from a project.
